Ashwini came to Dharamshala in 1997 after leaving behind his position as Publishing Manager for HarperCollins Publishers India in New Delhi. He taught math and physics at the Tibetan Children's Village School for the next four years. Today, Ashwini also owns Moonpeak Pictures and Moonpeak Espresso, a photo-lab and a cafe with gallery, in Mcleodganj, Dharamshala.
