Music's the universal language. It comforts us in sad times, walks us down Memory Lane and gives reference to popular culture in the here and now. But it goes farther than this. There's a visual side to the music world. From the flowing movement of a maestro's baton to the gyrating locks of a heavy-metal guitarist cranking it up on stage, photography can give face - and a dramatic one - to the energy of it all.

Whether its musicians performing to a lunch-time crowd on the high street, weekend gigs at the pub or the dialog between performers and their cheering fans, this course will place you at the forefront of capturing it in creative photographs packed with enthusiasm of that musical moment.
